Telecentre-Europe Summit 2012

REGISTRATIONS OPEN UNTIL AUGUST 31th!

Under the title "Jobs for youth and ageing online", the fifth Telecentre-Europe Summit will take place in Warsaw, Poland during 17-18 October 2012 and will bring together an invited audience of 100 telecentre network leaders from across Europe, along with stakeholders and supporters.
Mark your attendence at the Summit! Register online before August 31th 2012!
The main themes of the event will focus on how telecentres impact youth and older people, by providing the right eSkills, by the use of social media and by encouraging social innovation, towards better jobs and an improved quality of life.

TELECENTRE-EUROPE'S COMMUNITY EMBRACES FEATURED MEMBER CONTEST

Since June 2012, Telecentre-Europe is running a monthly Featured Member Contest among the members of its community site. The contest already shows results as, while more members participate, community activity promptly increases.

BEST PRACTICE GUIDE FOR TELECENTRE COORDINATORS

EOS Foundation Romania, in partnership with the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA), the Serbian International Aid Network (IAN) and the Moldovan Alliance of Access to Information and Training Community Centers (AITCC), have developed a “Best Practice Guide” that can be useful to all telecentres in Europe.

The guide is an example of best practices and activities developed in the telecentre networks of Romania, Serbia, Latvia and Moldova and is addressed to all telecentre coordinators.

"INNOVATION LIVE" MODELS EUROPEAN SOCIAL INNOVATION

The Innovation Live project of the Andalusian @RedGuadalinfo Telecentre Network features an online community and a series of face-to-face conferences, where local Social Innovation project leaders receive personalized advice from experts in project funding, communication, social media, creativity, technology and project consultancy.

EUROPEAN CELEBRATION AT THE CATALAN TELECENTRE NETWORK

Under the title Temps de Punt TIC (Time for the ICT Contact Point), the Catalan Telecentre Network Xarxa Punt TIC is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a variety of activities. As part of the celebrations, the month of September will be dedicated to Telecentre-Europe and to telecentre projects all around Europe.
