Like Nerdly Painter goes West (studio SALE) on Facebook
1.  Plamen got a great job offer, and it looks like we'll be heading to Milwaukee at the end of October.  In preparation for the move, I'm trying to sell some art.  Everything except my current series and my ink drawings are deeply discounted.  I'm updating my website with the sale prices and purchasing info as quickly as I can.  In the meantime, if you've wanted one of my originals and it's not an ink drawing, nor is it my latest "Tree of Life" series, ask me about it via email.  Prices are slashed from 40 % to 60+ % off.  Our relocation is covered in Plamen's offer, so whatever doesn't sell at the discounted prices goes on the truck and travels West with us.  Skip down to the bottom for a few examples.

2.  The late October moving date means I'll be at the Arlington Open Studios on October 13, 14.  I've spoken to some other artists and we may have a small invitation only pre-party to allow our mailing lists and collectors to see bigger and better work than we'd normally bring to the Arlington open Studios.  If we do this I'll have more studio sale items available for people to look at.  If the weather is good, we may use the backyard for display and have a fancy BBQ.  Please email  if you'd be interested in coming to a pre-party.

3.  Some good news!  My painting "Tree of Life 1", which combines DNA and family tree ideas, was accepted into "Glitz".  Glitz is a National competitive art show at the AnnMarie sculpture garden and art center, a small museum in Solomons Maryland, and a Smithsonian affiliate.  From what I've researched, the AnnMarie seems very similar to the deCordova in set up and reputation, but the grounds are larger and the indoor exhibit space is newer.  It's also less likely to snow.  This looks like the most significant venue for me yet, so I'm excited!

Moving Sale - ask if you don't see something
These are some examples of pieces that I'm discounting before the big move.  Browse the images on my website here - use the password "nerdonews".  I will be updating the portfolio pages of my website with more daily - as fast as I can.  If you don't see something, it may be because I haven't gotten to it yet.  Just email me with questions.  I will either ship for free or pay the MA sales tax on items 30 x 30 or smaller (including 24 x 36 flat pieces).  Work that is excluded from free shipping is marked with a *, and does not have a paypal link (inquire about the big ones, price marked reflects local pickup).  Some of the very huge pieces are being donated to WGBH for their art auction.  You can also browse my FAA and RedBubble sites to see pieces - just ask for availability and pricing of originals.   The prices from the previous newsletter sale are also extended.
Items that are excluded from the sale are my current "Tree of Life Series" Drawings and paintings and my larger ink drawings.  I'll need these to establish a reputation in the new city.
