Software Support Consulting Chemometrics Company Events Applications
Thank you for supporting Infometrix with continued readings. In addition to our quarterly newsletters
, we also email additional information about Infometrix' products and services.
Recently we sent out an email on our chemometrics training course which will be held at our office on October 14-16, 2015. Infometrix celebrating 37 years is now in its' 20th year of teaching chemometrics, taught by the same instructors since the beginning. Over the years, many attendees from a variety of industries have come from all over the world to attend our course. Although there are other companies that offer similar courses, Infometrix provides top quality training on a more custom level. Expect to receive excellent support before, during and after the course. Through our training course, we make efforts to help you develop the skills you need to perform independently, efficiently and accurately. Walk away with basic knowledge and additional helpful tips for a solid understanding of chemometrics. We are confident that with three days of quality training, pleasant travel and time with fellow attendees and Infometrix staff will all be worth it.
If you are curious or are interested in our training course but have not made a decision, whether it's due to lack of funding, conflict in schedule, questions about the overall benefit or fit of the course, or you've already signed up for a course, we appreciate all feedback. Your comments will aid us in understanding your specific needs and will be used to help improve our products and services. Feel free to email or call us and let us know what you think. You can also leave a comment or question under a particular post in our News/Discuss page

During the training course we will touch on a number of different types of data from various instrument systems. We are not devoted to any given instrumented technology but, we have long specialized in calibrating instruments systems for specific applications. Most of our experience is in optical spectroscopy (IR, NIR, Raman) and in chromatography (GC, LC). Over the past 6 months we have devoted our R&D efforts to a review of the practices employed in processing spectroscopy data for motor fuels blending at refineries. During this period we have performed calibrations in 12 settings with 6 different types of instruments. In all 12 cases, we found that we could suggest approaches to improve both the quality of the calibrations and streamline the effort. This is a function of training and software with a dash of sampling systems and hardware thrown in. It seems easy to underestimate the value of a proper approach and focused training. By taking our chemometrics course we will not only provide you with basic knowledge of the chemometric method, you will also learn to approach your analysis as a project that encompasses the instrument, data collection, analysis and a calibrated approach to successful results.
