The NRC/IUSB 3-part series on Asset Based Community Development

Neighborhood Resources Connection has teamed up with the American Democracy Project and Political Science Club of Indiana University South Bend to host a FREE series starting on asset based community development. This three-part series will start on November 1st.
Widely regarded as a leading method of improving communities and neighborhoods, ABCD encourages community organizers to start with what they have instead of what they need. Rather than turning to outsiders for help, ABCD principles empower neighbors to make change from within by identifying assets and making connections between them.

Participants are encouraged to reserve a spot in the November 1st workshop by getting a FREE ticket available here.

Persons who participate in all three workshops and complete a brief learning outcomes survey and ABCD strategy document will receive a CERTIFICATE from IU South Bend’s American Democracy Project Civic Leadership Academy.

When: Wednesdays, Nov. 1, 8, and 15, 2017
Time: 6:30-8:00 p.m. each day
Where: The University Grill, Administration Building, Indiana University South Bend
