There's no denying that Mother's Day this year is going to be a little bit different than normal.
I don't have kids and my Mum lives in the UK, so she's already had her Mother's Day. That said, Mother's Day in America is still special to me because of all the Mums, Moms, Mummys, Mammas, Grannys, Nanas etc that I have in my life (related or not). Living in a different country and not having my Mum close by, means that I value my female friendships even more.
