Laubach Literacy of Ontario Annual General Meeting

Laubach Literacy Ontario (LLO) is pleased to announce we will be holding our 39th Annual General Meeting on June 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. online via Zoom.

LLO Student Representative Nominations

Do you have a student you would like to nominate to become the Provincial Student Representative and serve on the LLO Board?

Who can become the Provincial Student Rep?
  • Any current or past student of a member agency who possesses the needed skills and is willing and able to take on the responsibilities of the Student Representative.  
If you would like to nominate someone, please complete the appropriate form and get it back to us no later than Monday, May 3rd, 2021!

Call For Student Stories During the Pandemic

We're looking for stories from adult literacy students about how life has been during the pandemic. We are going to create a booklet of stories to share with literacy agencies and students across the province.
  • Stories should be 2 pages or less (500 words maximum)
  • Email stories to by May 31, 2021
  • Please include a picture of yourself or a picture related to your story if you feel comfortable doing that!
Workplace Development Action Plan Survey

The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development is reaching out to collect your opinion on Employment Ontario’s current training programs and services via a Workforce Development Action Plan Survey. The consulting firm of KPMG has been commissioned to conduct this work. The Ministry is hoping to learn more about your experience delivering the LBS program in order to understand ways the program could be improved. Your response to this survey is anonymous and confidential. This survey should take about  20-30 minutes to complete. There are two surveys available; one for practitioners and one for learners. The surveys are available in both English and French.

The surveys will remain open until Sunday May 9, 2021 at midnight.

QUILL collaborated with project partners Project READ, Literacy Link South Central and Community Literacy of Ontario to gather  information around best practices on serving clients and taking care of staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
