The coordinator of our Pink House in the town is one of those rare, inspiring people, humble yet extraordinary in the way she she has brought back so many vulnerable girls from the edge of despair and hopelessness - simply by being there for them in their darkest moments.
And as you can see from this photo, she does that by being one of them, getting alongside each girl, caring for and loving them.
You really don't want to miss hearing from Cristiane about her struggles and victories as she has fought for the girls of Medina amid a culture in which they are seen as worthless objects, easy prey for abusers and exploiters.
Cristiane has hardly ever left Medina and is terrified of having to take a plane and come to the UK! But she wants to speak for the girls who have become her friends, and tell you about their plight, their stories, their dreams, and how their lives are being turned around.
You will also hear from Matt Roper and Warlei Torezani, see an unforgettable dance performance, a moving video message from Pink House girls, hear from special guests including Brazilian TV news anchor Sergio Utsch, and much more.
