This Month's Featured Business

GS Saddles and Tack is a family-owned, small business operating in Etna, California. Owner and saddlemaker, Gerry Silva, began his craft at 13 when he and his mom, a professional saddlemaker, built a saddle together. He continued his education in Loveland, Colorado under the direction of Dusty Johnson. Gerry continues this family tradition by offering high quality, custom built saddles and tack.

"The diversity of what I do keeps things interesting for me.  People bring in all kinds of things and so I'm constantly looking for new ways to solve problems, and match material and patterns. But my favorite part is how supportive Scott Valley has been.  I really want to say thank you for how busy they've kept me."

Gerry also provides saddle and leather repair to ensure your investment and comfort will last, even on saddles from other makers.

Call Gerry today @ 530-925-2179 and tell him the Chamber sent you!
