Covid Update
As some of you may be aware some other local schools have had to close class bubbles. I just want to clarify to you some of the guidance from Public Health England should they ask a school to close a bubble:
- Remember that for the vast majority of people, coronavirus is a mild illness
- Parents and carers of all children in the bubble will be asked to collect their child and the children will be asked to isolate for 14 days.
- Unless a child develops symptoms, they will not need to have a test
- The rest of your household, including siblings do not need to isolate - unless anybody in the household develops symptoms.
- All other children in the school, including any siblings of children in the closed bubble, should continue to attend school.

Christmas Cards
Our School Council is made up of pupils from every class from Year 1 to Year 6. One of the topics we discussed at this week's meetings was Christmas Cards. For the last few years the school has chosen to discourage children to send cards to each other in school as we consider the environmental impact. The School Council felt that although it is nice to get cards, they voted to continue to think of the environment first.
In light of the Covid-19 measures we have in place, it is also important that we minimise the amount of things coming in and out of school from different households.
