Belmont Green Energy Tour  -  Sunday May 20  10am - 3pm rain or shine

Visit 12 locations to learn how residents, nonprofits, and town government are using solar hot water and electricity, thermal heat pumps, energy conservation and weatherization to reduce their heat and air conditioning bills.

Maps for the tour can be picked up at the Beech Street Center at 266 Beech Street on Sunday May 20th.

6/25 (Monday) - Building an Economy That Works For All, a talk by Marjorie Kelly.   An intriguing look at a new form of business ownership deliberately designed to better society and reduce economic inequality.

5/21 (Monday) 7:45pm the Selectmen's room - Town Hall

The Board of Selectmen will meet with the Belmont Conservation Commission and members of the public for an update on their legal case opposing the proposed development in the Belmont Upland.  Please show your support by attending the public portion of this meeting at 7:45.   Click here for some background on the legal challenge.
