Covid 19 Update

King County is still in the early phases of reopening. KCD staff have been working from home, and are excited to be getting back out in the field. As we progress through the stay-at-home order reopening, KCD staff are conducting no-contact site visits and no-contact conservation field work.

We are working to resume soil testing and equipment loans in the near future. Our main office is still closed to the public.

We encourage you to reach out through our main line (425) 282-1900 or directly to staff that you are already working with.

We are all navigating uncertain terrain, but remember, you don't have to go it alone, your local conservation district is here to help.

It's Still Time to Think About Fire

Join KCD Wildfire and Forest Resiliency Program Coordinator Matt Axe as he walks you through a wildfire home risk assessment. See what Matt looks for, gain insights into increasing your home's wildfire resiliency, and consider contacting KCD to work with you and your community.
