Wanted - Accommodation suitable for Cyclist Magazine

We are keen for one of our accommodation providers to host a journalist and photographer from Cyclist Magazine who plan to visit in June in order to feature Wiltshire as a road cycling friendly destination. If you have facilities for bikes to be secured overnight and would like to get involved please contact Florence .

Travel Trade

We will shortly be starting work on production of our 2016 Group Visits & Travel Trade guide and we have sent a short survey out to our Travel Trade database and those on our travel trade group, to find out what people think of its current design and content. This information will help us to make future guides as relevant, informative and attractive as possible. Please contact Florence for further information.   

PR Update

The latest press releases issued include VisitWiltshire launches New Photo Library and Swap Horsepower for Pedal Power. We have also invited some key national and international media to a VisitWiltshire press event on 15 June, themed around our two-day Magna Carta trail and 'Time for Wiltshire'.


VisitWiltshire hosted blogger Rosana McPhee on a pan-Wiltshire visit and she has subsequently written a couple of blogs - Discovering Wiltshire: Lacock, Avebury and Blounts Court Farm and Discovering Wiltshire: Devizes, Ramsbury and Marlborough. Having just opened for business, Stonehenge ATV is the ultimate Salisbury Plain off-road buggy driving adventure! Two-seater Quadzilla buggies are able to cross any terrain and with a Salisbury Plain licence they can go places others can't! Wiltshire Futures - Developing Skills for Business Growth

Training opportunities are now available and these will be held at Royal Wootton Bassett and Salisbury. Sessions are at £25 plus VAT each (usually £250) unless otherwise stated.
