Year of the English Garden

In celebration of the 300th anniversary of 'Capability Brown' VisitEngland are developing the ‘Year of the English Garden’ as a key theme for 2016. Gardens are one of England’s greatest attractions for overseas and domestic visitors. Internationally, more than half of holiday visits include a trip to a park or garden, second only to shopping as a key activity. If you have any gardens-related news, openings and events for the year ahead please send to Flo. To find out more about VisitEngland's activity and to download the free toolkit to use logos etc visit  Year of the English Garden toolkit
