PR Update
We welcomed Isabel Choat from The Guardian to Wiltshire last weekend. Last May we hosted an Australian film crew which came to us via VisitEngland and this was shown on SBS One in Australia this week. We are hosting a journalist from Guernsey & Jersey Press this weekend who is staying for 3 nights covering Pewsey Vale, Mid and North Wiltshire. We have had an amazing response to our two-day themed Magna Carta trail and international press visit on 15 June, with over 25 journalists from 15 different countries, planning to attend. The latest press releases issued include Discover Trowbridge and Make Time for Wiltshire this May half term.

Family Traveller Magazine Awards
The inaugural Family Traveller Magazine Awards which recognise the best in the family travel industry for attractions, accommodation and more, are now open. Nominations are open until early June and then a short-list for public voting will be drawn up. It takes 3 minutes to nominate http://awards.familytraveller.com/
Western Railway Disruption
During a six week period this summer, 18 July to 31 August, Network Rail will carry out essential infrastructure work which will have an impact on visitors travelling through Wiltshire. This work is organised in two phases and there will be disruption between Chippenham, Bath and Trowbridge, with comprehensive replacement bus services from Bath to: Westbury, Frome, Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon, Chippenham, Avoncliff, Freshford, Castle Cary and Bristol Temple Meads. Wiltshire Futures - Developing Skills for Business Growth
Training opportunities are now available and these will be held at Royal Wootton Bassett and Salisbury. Sessions are at £25 plus VAT each (usually £250) unless otherwise stated.
