Our 2016 Photo Competition, in partnership with Salisbury Journal and other Newsquest titles, has got off to a great start, generating excellent exposure in the local press and some great entries for May. We are now accepting entries for June, so please do enter and encourage all your guests to do so too, as there are some fabulous prizes to be won. Advertising in our 2017 Brochures
We are now taking bookings for advertising in our 2017 Visitor Guide and Visitor Map. You can advertise in one… or the other… or even both, thereby reaching more people and increasing your brand awareness. Details can be found on the Marketing Opportunities leaflet.
The booking deadline is 30 August, but space is limited so we recommend you apply as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.

VisitBritain's The Great Britain Day Visits Survey (GBDVS)
The GBDVS measures the volume, value and trip characteristics of tourism day visits in Britain. Latest figures show that in England, volume increase by +19% in the three months to April 2016 at 343 million visits, and value rose by +6% to £10.8 billion, compared to the same period in 2015. This South West Tourism Excellence Awards have extended their deadline to 27 June and are encouraging submissions from Wiltshire businesses.
