  • BeatBox Party Punch Expands To 34,000+ Retail Accounts, Revenue Up 110% - Link

"The founders of BeatBox Beverages now have their wine-based "party punch" in more than 34,000 stores, up from 19,000 last year.

But, as a measure of success, they prefer to focus not on the number of stores that carry their product but the growing number of orders these stores place.

Aimy SteadmanBrad Schultz and Justin Fenchel founded Austin-based BeatBox in 2012. They have developed packaged alcoholic drinks, which are 11.1% alcohol by volume, in flavors like juicy mango and fruit punch.

Along the way, the founders have navigated several learning curves. BeatBox used to sell through wine and spirits networks but found it was better to go through beer distributors, which helped them reach convenience stores. The company also changed its packaging in 2017, moving into 500-milliliter Tetra packs." - Austin Business Journal’s Sahar Chmais

"Cart.com, which helps retailers manage and process their online sales, already counts among its clients such giants as Dollar General and GNC, as well as hot smaller brands including Austin’s Howler Bros. and Florida-based Haymaker Coffee. On one hand, the e-commerce start-up operates in an entirely different universe from the scrappy upstarts at the flea market—shop after tiny shop selling everything from jewelry and jerseys to car-wheel rims and trunk-size subwoofer boxes—and yet Tariq marveled at the parallels."
