AUCTION NEWSFLASH

Auction raffle tickets for seven nights in Maui + $1,000 on sale now
This year’s raffle is for seven nights at Papakea Resort in Maui in a one-bedroom condominium that sleeps up to four people. Each raffle ticket is $25, and they are on sale now at the front office. Only 500 tickets will be sold!
 
Airline tickets are not included in the prize package, but the winner will get $1,000 that they can use to put toward airfare. Cleaning fees are included. A daily resort fee of $17 + tax & incidentals will be the responsibility of the winner. Reservations must be made at least 60 days in advance, booked directly with the owner, and are subject to availability. Reservations are required and terms are subject to change. Expires Feb. 25, 2019.
 
Silent Auction & classroom projects return to the night of the Live Auction
By popular demand, this year’s Silent Auction will be held the same evening as the Mardi Gras Masquerade Auction & Dinner at 5 p.m. on February 25th in Marian Hall. There will be no online Silent Auction held prior to that time.  Classroom projects are also being moved back to the night of the Auction with the exception of those classes that do individual projects. Make sure to get your tickets when they go on sale so you don’t miss out on all of the great items we have for you!
 
All new Wall of Wine Contest for this year
We are introducing a new Wall of Wine Contest. For every bottle of wine that is donated with a value of $15 or more, the donor will be entered into a drawing for the Best of Silent. Yes, the winner will be able to choose any Silent Auction Item they like, prior to the night of the Auction. The more bottles you donate, the better your chances to win. All wine must be donated by Friday, Jan. 27th. Bottles can be dropped off at the front office of the school. The winner will be selected on Wednesday, Feb. 1st.
 
Help with the procurement of items for Silent, Super Silent, and Live Auctions
Items that always sell the best at Auction and often bring in larger sums are items that provide a unique experience or opportunity to purchase something you wouldn’t normally be able to get. We ask that everyone please take a few minutes and think if you know anyone you could ask to donate to our auction who has access to items such as these:

Any and all new items are welcome! Please check the school website for the Auction logo and click through for access to the Donation Forms and Procurement Letter.  And don’t forget, anyone who submits an item that qualifies to be a Live Auction Item valued at $700 or more, will be given a complimentary ticket to the night of the event - one ticket per qualifying donated item.

This year’s Building Futures Auction - Mardi Gras Masquerade - will be on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, in Marian Hall. The Silent Auction returns to the night of event and we will have a Mardi Gras mask contest. Don’t miss the fun!
