To ensure we are offering team Starwin the best support we can at this time we are collaborating with EMG Performance Psychology. Liz, founder of EMG and local Darwin mumpreneur, is a registered Psychologist specialising in performance-enhancement both on and off the sporting field, and loves assisting people reach their potential in sport, life, work, and education. Liz aims to provide practical skills and strategies to enhance performance that can generally be utilised immediately. 

Over the past six months Liz has been supporting our Darwin team with Career Mentoring Services, as part of our Each One, Teach One mentoring program. Whilst our funding through Aboriginal Workforce Grants from NTG has wound up, we are continuing to offer mentoring and have extended career support for all present and past team Starwin members, over thirty talented individuals. We are also offering funds for supplies, vouchers for our shopfront and referrals to Verve Super for financial advice and their Verve Academy program for financial planning. 

We have made effort to personally connect and reach out to all team members who have helped us grow Starwin over the past decade and will continue to work as a team to support as many people as possible to achieve their dreams, no matter the circumstances. We thank Liz and our team for their ongoing support for Starwin. 

Follow Plant Based Native as Lia, a Cairns based Mumpreneur, shares her practice and explores her cultural connections, learning and nourishment as a Woman of Colour and mother living as diaspora in Australia. Lia’s cooking, hosting and sharing in deeply rooted in her desire to provide everyday solutions that support the wellbeing of her people.

We are working with Xavier Catholic College at Wurrumiyanga Bathurst Island on a screen printing project to raise funds for their graduates. Many of the young artists have been a part of our Tiwi Youth Girls Leadership program and this is a way to assist them further develop on their career pathways. In the near future we will launch a tote bag collection with 100% of proceeds returning to the students.
