|We’re pleased to announce that the Mastersons will play at our place on Friday, April 3 (doors 7/show 8PM). This husband/wife multi-instrumentalist duo consists of Chris Masterson and Eleanor Whitmore. When they're not touring the world as members of Steve Earle's band, the Dukes, they make inspired albums of their own emotionally vivid, deeply humanistic songs. This time around, they will be highlighting songs from their brand-new “No Time for Love Songs” album, as well as songs from their impressive back catalog. For those unfamiliar, here are links to a few of our favorite songs:
“Closer To You”
Touring with the band is Bonnie Whitmore (Eleanor’s sister!) who will play a brief solo opening set. She’s great and well worth checking out, as well: "F**k With Sad Girls"
