Here's the invitation to our August house concert...

Ramblin’ Deano & Ice Cold Singles will play at our place on Friday, August 23.  This band is the latest collaboration between Dean Schlabowske (of Chicago’s Waco Brothers) and former members of Austin’s Meat Purveyors.   Deano will open the show with a solo set of his pithy, politically-charged acoustic folk songs and the full band will close things out with their high-energy brand of country and bluegrass.  The following links should provide a crash course in the various musical components coming together on 8/23:

Deano’s website (you can hear songs from the band, as well as some of his solo material)

Ice Cold Singles “Stuck In The Mud”

Ramblin’ Deano “The President Is Out Of His Mind”

Meat Purveyors “Daydreams About Night Things”
