We're announcing our 45th Season on Bastille Day in recognition of our 2015-16 focus on French composers and their influence. “La Vie Parisienne” will feature a wide array of musical signatures, ranging from some of the best-known works of Debussy, Ravel and Poulenc, to innovative voices like Tailleferre, Farrenc and Damase.

Season 45: "La Vie Parisienne"

All concerts are held on Sundays at 3:00pm at Sundin Music Hall, Hamline University. NiceRide bike station and free parking available nearby. All seats general admission.
September 27th, 2015: The four-concert season opens with an intimate, lyrical violin sonata written by Mozart as he traveled on tour from Vienna to Paris. Fauré and a septet by Adolphe Blanc complete our arrival in the French capital.                 TICKETS
November 22nd, 2015: Despite whatever the weather's like outside, the winds in this program are bubbly and melodious. The strings join in for the last piece, Jean Francaix’s Octet, a witty and monumental work.         TICKETS
February 21, 2016: Salon Parisien food and wine event continues  our tradition of pairing a region's cuisine and composers in an atmosphere of camaraderie and conversation. Join us for lush works ranging from emotional to effervescent by composers Damase, Debussy, Poulenc, and Ravel. TICKETS
May 8th, 2016: To celebrate Mother's Day, The Musical Offering presents music by two celebrated French women composers. The season’s final note will end on a performance of Debussy's remarkable String Quartet.    TICKETS

The Musical Offering's ensemble is composed of top-tier professional musicians from the Minnesota Orchestra and Minnesota's top University Schools of Music: Celine Leathead, violin; ^Gareth Zehngut, viola; Jim Jacobson, cello; Jane Garvin, flute; John Snow, oboe; David Pharris, clarinet; Caroline Lemen horn; *Norbert Nielubowski, bassoon; and *Susan Billmeyer, piano.  
 *Co-Artistic Director. ^Gareth joins the ensemble after stunning performances as a guest from the Minnesota Orchestra during his first year in Minnesota last season.
