Deaf Awareness Day is hosted by Carolyn’s Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch and Able Hands Interpreting Services. This special outdoor event is designed to make the park more enjoyable for people with hearing loss, and to help the general public become aware and understanding of people who are deaf and hard of hearing. On Sunday, September 18, 2011 there will be an information booth set up in the entrance area of Carolyn’s Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch, with interpreters located at various places in the family area.
