Stay on the block that Dylan, Kerouac and Hendrix made famous!
The eagerly-awaited boutique Hotel Marlton opened it's doors in September, creating a new anchor for this rapidly changing block of West 8th Street.  The 107-room hotel, owned by Richard Born and Sean MacPherson of Bowery Hotel, Waverly Inn and Jane Hotel fame, underwent a complete renovation inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1930s-era Tender is the Night.

The hotel retained original features like herringbone wood floors, marble bathrooms and brass fixtures, and the hotel's common space will soon house the 98-seat Cafe Marlton, to open later this year.  Room prices start at $275 per night -- reserve a room here.

The 11th Annual Taste of the Village sold more tickets than ever before!  Thank you to all who attended this year's event, and to our sponsors for their gracious contributions to fund sanitation, public safety and horticultural services in Washington Square Park.
