<<First Name>>, what's the best way we can serve you?

Help us learn how we can improve our communications and relationship with you by taking our less than 5 minute survey. We really value your input and friendship and want to know more about how you would like to be involved and continue to learn about our work in Nicaragua.

Please take just a few quick minutes to give us your feedback now.

Until We Meet Again, Dr. Kevin!

Our dear friend, Dr. Kevin Lake (pictured above left) passed away on March 8th, 2014. He supported work with health promoters in rural communities since 2002, and was a founding member of the AMOS Board since 2006. As a doctor, he helped train our health promoters in upper respiratory illness management and was a constant mentor and companion to AMOS founders Drs. Laura and David Parajon.

Dr. Kevin, thank you for letting AMOS Health & Hope be a small part of your life.

We will forever remember your service and love to rural Nicaragua. We love you and we will miss you. You will always shine in our hearts. Thank you for being our inspiration, our friend, and our hero.

“Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:40

In his own words...

Agustín Gudiño serves as health promoter in AMOS's farthest, hardest to reach community, El Cedro, where families travel a minimum of 5 hours on horseback to arrive at the closest store or health center.  He views his education through AMOS as a powerful tool:

"There are people in this world crying out for someone to defend them and they don’t feel like they have ability to speak out. Education is a tool to help you have a voice and to have the courage to help someone else who cannot stand for themselves."

Read the full interview with Agustín on our website to learn more about his unique community, his vision as a leader, and the impact AMOS has had in El Cedro!

Thank You, March Delegations!
