Hi <<First Name>>

We've had a busy couple of months planning for the year ahead, and will soon be setting off around the country to deliver our brand new packages of technology. We hope to see lots of you soon, but in the meantime, you can keep up to date with our news with this latest edition of our e-newsletter, including some brand new iPad apps we've been looking at.

This year's donations

After a successful series of consultation meetings with hospices that have submitted their applications for this year's round of equipment donations, we're now working with our fundraising team to raise funds.

This year's packages feature some exciting new accessible gaming equipment, including mobile VR, and we'll also be rolling out our new Tech Trunks with a variety of portable equipment to support your ever-growing community services.

Dates are being added to the diary and we can't wait to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones!

iPad apps

We’ve been doing some research on latest iPad apps and thought we'd share some of our favourites:

- Moozart: An hilarious music creator featuring sounds from a collection of barnyard animals
- Heatmap: A great sensory app that simulates various heat-sensitive surfaces reacting to the heat of your fingertips. Simple, yet relaxing and entertaining!
 - Wheelmap: An app that provides worldwide maps for finding and marking wheelchair accessible places
Visit our Facebook group and tell us about your favourite apps.

Do you know anyone who works in video games?
Lifelites has been shortlisted to win funding from GamesAid, the charity of the UK gaming industry.

Lots of you have told us about the benefits of gaming for the children you care for, but that games controller aren't always accessible. We want to be able to donate more of our assistive gaming technology, but need funding to do so. If you know anyone who works in the gaming industry, could you ask them to consider voting for Lifelites? See the link below for more information.

If we're not donating new technology to you this year, we can still come and do some refresher training. It's completely free of charge and is all part of the service Lifelites provides to make sure you get the maximum benefit from the technology.  Please complete our Training Request form and return it to or give us a call.

Alternatively, if you have some feedback on the impact the equipment is having, or any questions about the technology then do get in touch. You can also join our  Facebook group and share your thoughts, ideas, experiences and questions with the rest of the Lifelites hospice staff network.

Finally, if you have any technical issues, Bryan and his team are just a  call away. You can reach them by calling 07833 251755 or emailing

Best wishes
