LOBSTER UPDATE:  Still no relief in the Northeast, making shipping of lobsters difficult.  This morning there was a great news story on Diane Cowan, a Lobster Scientist, who has been trapped on an Island in Maine for a month. Her passion for the sustainability of the lobster population is inspirational.  We will NOT have Lobsters this Saturday in the Restaurant 03/14/2015. We apologize for any inconvenience, but please check our facebook page for updates and hopefully we will get some good news for next week!

 We have had a TON of calls about Crawfish. It looks like we are going to bring them in closer to mid March.  If you are as excited as we are, you can SAVE THE DATE for All you can eat Crawfish and Live Music by Zydeco Blanco on Sunday April 19th $50.00 per person!  Crawfish for Kids benefiting St. James' Episcopal School.  This is going to be a great party for a great cause. 

Last week we sent a survey out via Survey Monkey about our Market, I wanted to thank all of you who have already responded.  We are getting some AMAZING FEEDBACK!  If you have not had an opportunity, please take a few minutes and fill it out for us, and you will be entered to win a $100.00 gift card to Jack Allen's Kitchen!  If you did not receive the survey, here is the link.  We will do our drawing next Tuesday March 10th!

Maryland Mondays - Enjoy Alaskan king crab legs boiled Maryland-style for only $19.99/lb while you tap your feet and swing your hips to the sounds of Aunt Ruby's Sweet Jazz Babies!

Taco Tuesdays - $3.00 Seafood tacos (shrimp, mahi mahi or catfish, grilled, blackened or fried) all served with our crunchy slaw and your choice of salsa and tortilla. Wash'em down with $2.00 domestic draft beers or $1.00 Cans of Lone Star, PBR, or Tecate!

Pasta Wednesdays -Pasta Wednesday's.  Our new chef's are making fresh Pasta each Wednesday pairing it with some of our fresh seafood.  Perfect with $2.00 Lone Star cans or  enjoy with a refreshing glass of Texas wine while your relax to the cool sounds of Austin's own...The Calico Jazz Trio or The Robert Kraft Trio.

 $1.00 Gulf Coast Oysters on the half shell-  Thursday Nights starting at 6:00 PM,   we will be featuring $1.00 (each) Gulf Coast Oysters on the Half Shell. Wash it all down with $2.00 Lonestar, PBR, or Tecate! Typically we do a New England Style Clam Bake tonight, but again due to the weather in New England, we are unable to get Clams, so until next week... 

Lobsterfest Saturdays -Due to the inclement weather in the North East (major blizzards and snow storms) we will not have  Lobsters this Saturday  03/07/15.   We apologize for  any inconvenience.  We will keep you posted via Facebook as soon as we know anything.  We are shooting for next week!

 Pacifc Red Rockfish has a sweet, mild flavor, with a flaky, medium-firm texture. It is best baked, sautéed, broiled or poached. Since the flesh tends to flake easily, it is not the best fish for grilling. Try it with a little lemon to bring out the sweet flavor without overpowering. Rockfish is also an excellent fish for use in ceviches.
