We're recovering from a very busy Valentine's Day. Thanks to all of you who came by the market and the restaurant for our lobster special. It was a treat to see all of you! We've got some great grilling specials this week in the market; hopefully, the warm weather will continue on into the weekend. We've also got two new locally-brewed beers available in the market: Independence Brewing Company's Bootlegger Brown and Austin Amber ($8.79/six pack). For those of you wondering about live crawfish, we're keeping our fingers crossed that they will be in season by mid-March. Those cold weather fronts have kept the mudbugs deep in the mud! We hope to see you in the market again soon.

Recipe of the week
Mahi Mahi Lettuce Wraps (recipe credit: Paula Deen)
Serves 2
Mahi mahi lettuce wraps
1 mango, diced
2 plum tomatoes, diced
1 red onion, diced
1 jalapeno, diced
3 tablespoons chopped cilantro leaves
2 limes, juiced
Salt and pepper
2 mahi mahi fillets
Olive oil, as needed
Lettuce leaves (butter or romaine)

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine the mango, tomatoes, jalapeno, cilantro and lime juice in a medium mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper. Season the fish with salt and pepper and brush with olive oil. Grill for roughly 3 to 4 minutes per side, until just opaque in the center. Set aside to cool. When slightly cool, chop into large chunks. Add to the reserved salsa and fold carefully as to not break up the fish. Add mixture to the middle of the lettuce leaves and roll.

New Orleans Thursdays - Soft-shell crabs (golden-friend or sauteed New Orleans BBQ-style)...choose from po-boys, dinners, or order a la carte. Perfect with $2.00 Lone Star Longnecks!

Lobsterfest Saturdays - Live Maine lobsters are flown in Saturday mornings and boiled to-order from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. When in season, we also boil live Dungeness crabs flown fresh from the West Coast. Lobsters are $18.99 each and Dungeness crabs are just $15.99/lb.
