Farm days in September
 We're harvesting fruit and vegetables, and our main task for this month will be to work in the polytunnel to expand the growing area.

At the Railway Orchard
Saturday 7th
at 11am
We will be checking on the apples and picking up windfalls, cutting the grass and tidying up.  
 
At the new farm

Sunday 15th
Sunday 22nd
Saturday 28th

11am onwards (usually)

We will build and plant out more raised beds inside the polytunnel, and continue to make lots of compost to fill the beds with.  We still need to sort out the rainwater harvesting system - gutters, water containers, pipes.  Lots of windfalls to pick up from the apple trees, and of course masses of scything to do!
