Farm days in January

A new year,
new resolutions,
let's get out and get the community farm sorted!

 At the new farm and Poundbury orchard
Saturday 5th
Saturday 12th

Sunday 27th

11am onwards

Lots of preparations for the new year! 
We will be building raised beds 'inside' the new polytunnel, preparing the potato patch, clearing space for the 420 trees, digging a new pond, and lots of other exciting tasks!

Something for everyone!

It's time to scare away the evil spirits and exhort the apple trees to produce lots of apples again!
We will be holding our annual wassailing at the Poundbury orchard this year, on
Sunday 20th January at 1pm.  
Bring some apple juice or cider or apple cake to share, something to make a loud noise with (for the evil spirits) or just turn up and join in.

Edward Parker is an environmentalist, campaigner, educator, writer and photographer  who has a passion for ancient trees, rainforest conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources.
