Farm days in November
Lots of those autumn jobs to keep us busy this month!
At the Railway Orchard
Saturday 2nd
at 11am
General tidying up
At the farm
Sunday 10th
Sunday 17th
Saturday 23rd
11am onwards (usually)
We will finish off scything the orchard (nearly done!) and making compost, as well as moving compost from the orchard to the polytunnel. We still haven't done the rainwater harvesting system for the polytunnel, so if you are good at that sort of thing, why not come and join us! And there's more to be done at the forest garden.
Something for everyone!
All welcome!

We need to plant 1.5 billion trees in the UK to help tackle climate change, and TTD wants to be part of this!
National Tree Week at the end of November starts off the tree planting season, and we will be joining in. We will be receiving 200 trees in January, 420 trees in March, and we have applied for a grant to buy another 300. So we plan to have a Big Tree Planting Event sometime in January! Meanwhile, check out the Woodland Trust website:
