Farm days in October
We will be concentrating on getting the polytunnel sorted for next year, and looking at the orchards and the forest garden.
At the Railway Orchard
Saturday 5th
at 11am
We will be picking apples, cutting the grass and tidying up.
At the farm
Sunday 13th

Sunday 27th
11am onwards (usually)
On one day this month we will be checking out the forest garden. We will build more raised beds inside the polytunnel and continue to work out the rainwater harvesting system. We will scythe the orchard and make compost from the scythings to fill the beds in the polytunnel.

The Woodland Trust is calling for 1 million volunteers to be part of a mass tree planting campaign to help tackle climate change, and TTD wants to be part of this. Watch this space, but in the meantime, if you have any ideas, contact us.

Dorchester Repair Cafe is up and running!
The first public event is on Sunday 27 October, 10-12, at Sunninghill Community Centre, Culliford Rd North, DT1 1EB, and the last Sunday of the month thereafter.
If you have anything which needs mending, bring it along and see if it can be fixed! Or just come along and see what's going on, enjoy some refreshments.
Volunteers also needed - help is needed with admin, reception, refreshments, and of course the repairs! Electrics, electronics, computers, sewing, ceramics, furniture, woodwork, bicycles, etc etc. If you have a few hours to spare once a month please get in touch on repaircafedorchester
