Events in local sustainability this November
AGM
We are holding our AGM on
Sunday 14th November at 2pm
It will be in the polytunnel at the Community Farm, because it is a large well ventilated (!) space.  Come and hear what we have been up to this year, and join us for some refreshments afterwards.  Please bring something to sit on - we don't have many chairs!
All welcome!
Railway Orchard

We will meet on
Saturday 6th November at 11am.

The brambles need cutting back, so bring secateurs.  And the bay tree has become enormous and probably needs a prune. And there might be some apples left.

Farm days

Now is the time to start working on our winter tasks

We meet at the Community Farm or the Community Orchard in Poundbury on
Sunday afternoons at around 2pm

and also on

Wednesday mornings at 10.30

We will be mulching areas for planting next year, planting green manure on beds cultivated this year, the pond surround needs some attention, there is grass to compost, paths between beds to clear.  And winter is a good time for infrastructure projects - we would like to construct a rabbit proof fence round the raised beds, and some planters for lavender.

The site is large and it is easy to socially distance.  Email us if you'd like to come along.
