Farm days in July
With all the rain and sun, everything at the farm is growing!

The tomatoes are shooting up in the polytunnel, as well as lettuce, peppers and courgettes

 At the new farm

Sunday 7th

Saturday 13th
Saturday 20th
Sunday 28th

11am onwards (usually)

We will continue to build and plant out the raised beds inside the polytunnel.  We still need to sort the rainwater harvesting system - gutters, water containers, pipes.  We will continue to plant out and weed the outside raised beds, make lots of compost, and weed the trees planted in April.  And masses of scything to do!
Something for everyone!
All welcome!

Nope, the orchard licence still hasn't come through.  So we still can't plan an orchard day.

We will probably be working on other days too.  Check our facebook page!

Breaking news!
Repair Cafe opening in Dorchester soon - watch this space!
Dorset Community Energy has opened its 3rd share offer.  They hope to raise £445,000 to install 700kWp of rooftop solar panels on 10 schools and hospitals in Dorset.  Members of the community are invited to put relatively small amounts of money into the pot and earn a return of around 5.5%, while schools/hospitals get cheap electricity and the world gets reduced carbon emissions. All the details can be found on the website:
This provides a low-risk, ethical, local investment opportunity that supports the community and helps to fight climate change.
