Friday 4/16
In Person Youth Group (Jr. & Sr.) Games & Bonfire 6-8:30pm
Jr. and Sr. Youth are invited to join April on the lawn of First Parish in Taunton, for a chance to connect and bond in-person after so much time apart. What could be better then a night of good old fashion games like UNO, corn hole, and frisbee as well as bonfires and s'mores. Masks are required at all times while not eating. In case of bad weather youth group will be rescheduled.

Building A Village Parents Group 9:30am
Raising children can be hard, but having a community can help! Join us tomorrow morning as we chat about the joys and challenges of raising children, and take a look at how we handle transitions and milestones.

This week Sunday School kids continue to explore our spiritual theme of Becoming with a special focus on Earth Day. We will explore how we are becoming people who live out the value of our 7th Principle: The Interconnected Wed, and how we are becoming protectors of the earth
Materials Needed: Paper, Coloring Supplies, 1/4 measuring cup, Drinking glass, Microwave safe mug, Fork, Lemons, Sugar, Water

Faith at Home
The theme for April is Becoming, and with Earth Day being the 22nd this week we are exploring How We Are Becoming Protectors of the Earth and People of our 7th Principle. Here are a few ways to activity explore and live into our spiritual theme at home as a family!

*Family Movie Night – The Lorax (G)
Snuggle up as a family and watch as the Lorax (who speaks for the trees) tells a timeless story of humanity's relationship with the land, water, air, and animals
*Family Activity – Earth Day Activities
Have fun as a family diving into this article: 10 Earth Day Activities, full of fun earth day activities. Choose one or all 10, whatever you feel works for your family and helps you live into our 7th Principle and Become Earth Protectors.
*Family Bedtime (or Anytime) Stories
Click on any book in the FPC Anti-Racist, Diversity, and Inclusivity Virtual Library to be taken to a read aloud video. Slide 4 contains books that relate to this months theme of BECOMING.
*Family Conversation Starters
How often do you think about your impact on our earth? What is one commitment you can make to do a better job of protecting our earth?
*UU Parenting - *Chalice Lighting
Spiritual practice is just as important for children and youth as it is for adults!! Lighting a chalice at home is a wonderful way to live into our faith and help your children feel grounded in spiritual practice. This week try lighting a family chalice at dinner or bedtime, or whatever time makes sense for your family.
