Faith at Home

This Spring and Summer we will be focusing our spiritual need for radical play and connection. Here are a few ways you can continue to explore this theme at home during the month of June.

* Family Movie Night - The Sandlot (PG)
Snuggle up as a family and watch the story of a group of young baseball players during the summer of 1962

*Family Bedtime (or Anytime) Stories
Click on any of the books in the FPC Anti-Racist, Diversity and Inclusion Virtual Library to be taken to a read aloud video. Slides 6 and 7 contain books related to the spring and summer theme of play and connection.

* UU Parenting
Join our Adult RE Class this month, Parents as Primary Sexuality Eductor. This class provides a wonderful way of living into your UU values and an opportunity to learn how to talk with your children about sexualtiy from UU and holistic approach no matter what their ages.

*Family Conversations Starters
Are you a good winner? How about a good loser? Do you think it's important to be good at both?

*Family Chalice Lighting
Spiritual practice is just as important for children and youth as it is for adults!! Lighting a chalice at home is a wonderful way to live into our faith and help your children feel grounded in spiritual practice. This week try lighting a family chalice at dinner or bedtime, or whatever time makes sense for your family.
