Noshers: So this week your editor is in England -- visiting family in the cold north-west area of the country. Being so far removed from the Bay Area does underscore the things one can take for granted there -- local markets heaped with fresh, locavore produce and delicious treats crafted by local artisans. Many of those were honored at the 2015 Good Food Awards. We highlight the East Bay winners below and bring you news of a parklet planned for Berkeley. And it's Restaurant Week time, so go out and enjoy what's on your doorstep!
Three parking spaces in front of the deli could soon be replaced by greenery and outdoor seating, if plans by architect David Trachtenberg are approved.
