We are proud to present...
A silent auction benefitting Perception Funding
November 19th at 6pm
RSVP now!

Before Jonathan went on Sabbatical earlier in the year, we began planning a Silent Auction for this fall. When planning this fundraiser, we wanted it to feel as sustainable as our other fundraising endeavors. To this end, all items in the Silent Auction are made or renovated either with our own hands, or created and donated by our loving supporters! While on Sabbatical, Jonathan began working on items for the Silent Auction as a part of his healthy rhythms of rest. Working with his hands has always been rejuvenating and inspiring for Jonathan, so this endeavor served a dual purpose!
We hope you are able to attend the auction on November 19th at 6p at Vox Dei Community Church in Belton, MO. This auction was intentionally scheduled just before the holidays, as the items that will be available would all make great christmas or hostess gifts!
Finally, it is not too late to donate a handmade item to our auction! If you are crafty or have a specific skill you would like to share wit us, please let Jonathan know!

- Ministry Partner Update
We currently have a few different ministry partners who are waiting patiently to see where the Lord will lead them in their missions work.
  • The Hall family with Hope Albania are praying to be used most effectively to reach the spiritually undernourished people of Albania. Past work with a school in Peshkopi has opened several doors of minsitry for them. Now they are waiting to see where God will lead them! In the meantime, they are working with a local pastor and his wife at their church.
  • Another couple we team up with, whom we cannot name due to safety concerns, works in a part of the world where christianity is not only persecuted but actually illegal. They are currently visiting a neighboring village, considering an opportunity for more ministry there. In the meantime, they are creating friendships with their neighbors who practice a strictly ritualistic false religion.
We are confident that both of these ministry partners are being faithful in the discipleship of their current communities. We are thankful to be teaming up with people who are passionate about living out the Great Commission even when it is painful or confusing!
Prayer & Praise
  • We are currently working on becoming BBB certified through This certification will add us to a list of "trusted" non profits. This is useful when potential supporters stumble upon our website, as it notifies them that we have been vetted by a nationally renowned non-profit agency. This is time consuming, and very detailed work. Pray that we are able achieve the certification quickly and without hangups.
  • As summer turns to fall, we will begin shifting our focus, and the focus of our ministry partners, toward year-end fundraising. (Over 42% of ALL giving in the U.S. occurs from October-December!) Pray that we will be able to provide useful training and accountability for our ministry partners.
  • We have even more new ministry partners asking to join our team this fall! Pray for discernment, and that our time will be spent effectively!
