Hello! I'm Debra Samuels.
It has been my pleasure over this past year to start working with the Table for Two organization here in the United States on a variety of different projects. The organization’s commitment to combatting both obesity and hunger through education and the funding of meals in several countries is a noble effort and one with which I am proud to be associated. The new Wa-Shokuiku program, funded by the US-Japan Foundation and now under development, will be an exciting multi-media  curriculum for K-12 students to learn about Japanese cuisine, eating culture and nutrition. Thank you for the opportunity! Itadakimasu!

About TABLE FOR TWO: In our world of 7 billion, 1 billion suffer from under-nutrition, while another 2 billion suffer from obesity. TABLE FOR TWO is an organization that rights this imbalance by simultaneously addressing the two opposing problems through a unique "calorie transfer" program. By partnering with corporations, universities, restaurants, and organizations implementing our program in their establishments and products, TABLE FOR TWO has served healthy meals to both sides of the "table."
