  • Our Comfort & Joy Christmas Festival will be broadcast online this year. As a way of getting more of you involved, we're asking for short family video recording of 5-7seconds with a Christmas message such as "Wishing you all a Merry Christmas from the".
If you wish to make a video please send it to Hannah at no later than Thursday 10th December.
  • Advent has started, if you haven't already had a look, here are some great advent reflection resources: The Church of England have the Comfort and Joy calendar which can be used in the home by families to think about faith activities at home on special dates. Or sign up  to receive daily family activities that take you through the Christmas story with Muddy Church's Jesse Tree ADVENT-ure.
  • This year the Winter Night Shelter is looking to work with the Hope into Action model of Supported Housing and is looking for volunteers to decorate and furnish a house to make it into a home. We have supported the Winter Night Shelter, both financially and practically, for a number of years and many guests have benefitted from the support and have moved onto more permanent accommodation and into jobs. We are focusing now on those who have more complex issues and need a little bit more support to turn their lives around. If you would like to be involved with this please contact Saju,
Prayer Requests:
  • The bereaved – For Russ, Vikki and Henri & wider family, mourning little Connie; for Mick Aldington, Jan and the family as they travel for his dad’s funeral this week; and the family and friends of dear Keith Sheepwash and also David Howlett; and for all who are mourning loss.
