Prayer Requests:
  • Graham Davis who writes … ‘Following a routine annual blood test in early October, I was found to have prostate cancer.  Subsequent tests and scans have revealed that mercifully it hasn’t spread and the prognosis is good.  I shall be starting hormone therapy followed by radio therapy in the near future.  I would value your support in prayer through this time, thank you.’
  • Neville Piper has had a grim time following his knee replacement op 4 weeks ago and is dealing with many difficulties in his recovery and with pain relief – please continue to lift him before the Lord for healing, relief and strengthening. Pray too that Tina’s driving licence is returned after her heart problem, and that they are enabled to get to their appointments.  Tim and Amanda Friday’s friend Liz who recently had a very bad fall; Val Flick’s mum Joyce recovering after a fall; The Whittaker family – Terry is improving, Jo and Connor starting to feel stronger and Charlie is back at work, praise the Lord; Malcolm & Angela who have been slowly getting over Covid-19. Malc is now due to have cancer surgery on Thursday 17th by a top surgeon and expert in robotic surgery and his outcome is good. Angela too is having more tests - this could be Covid related; David Bairnsfather awaiting results of treatment & tests; Lynne’s sister-in-law Sarah in her recovery from having a heart  stent fitted;  for those having chemo treatments - Sue Jenner, Natasha Mcready, Pauline’s daughter in law Liz who’s had encouraging scan results but treatment has been extended through to March so please pray for minimal side effects in the coming months, and Tracey Couch MP; alsofor the families and loved ones supporting those unwell and recovering; and all those needing the Lord’s healing touch and comforts.
  • The bereaved – For Ken Colyer whose wife Beryl passed away on 20th November – they were both past members of St Mark’s; Katie Skinner’s step mum Clare who passed away peacefully after a long illness. Please uphold Katie, her dad and the family.  For Russ, Vikki, Henri & wider family following little Connie’s recent funeral; for Mick Aldington whose dad passed away recently, Jan and the family; all those we remember and cherish; and all who grieve and mourn.

Please pray for these and for all those you know needing the Lord’s healing touch and comforts.
