BBS Members:

To all that were able to get some time away from the heat this summer, congrats and welcome back. Only 45 more days left before we get some relief.  Uhg.  For those that muscled through the summer, at least you were able to enjoy some great “Haboob” storms and beautiful sunsets that only AZ can provide.

We ended August with the retirement ceremony of our good friend, Command Chief Master Sergeant Dan Weimer.  It was a sad day for the USAF but he will be staying with us in AZ and plans to be active with our BBS. We also welcomed our new leadership for the next 2 years and we could not be more excited about the future of Luke AFB.  We have included the bios of our new leaders in this newsletter and hope you get a chance to read them and learn more about the outstanding achievements of each.  IMPRESSIVE STUFF.

Please try to attend the next Happy Hour Hit Squad to get an in-person update and catch up with your fellow BBS members.  Also, you will see a link below for a volunteer shift at the JE Dunn Annual Golf tourney on September 8th.   FCF has been named the beneficiary for the second year in a row and this is an easy way to show your support and earn some “bullets” for 2022.   As a reminder, bullets are earned by BBS members at every volunteer event or sponsored activity.  We plan to provide updates on year-to-date bullets earned by each member, so be on the lookout for that info.

Thanks again for all you do to support FCF and Luke AFB and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

John Pierson
BBS Chairman
