The WALKTOBER Challenge is BACK!
Each year we challenge our community to walk for health and vitality.
Not only does walking contribute to personal health, using our feet as a means of transportation reduces traffic congestion and petroleum product usage. Walking outdoors also enhances community by "moving at the speed of sight." That means you can say hello to your neighbors, enjoy natural resources, pet some dogs, and become more aware of your community in general.
During October, we challenge you to walk OUTSIDE for an average of 1, 2, or 3 miles per day for a total of 20, 60, or 90 miles for 30 days.
Turn in your mileage record at the end of the month and if you attended the Gait Lab workshop, you will get a FREE month of yoga membership credited to your account!
