Greetings Neuro Challenge Community,

As Winter turns to Spring, Neuro Challenge is busy getting ready for the 5th Annual Parkinson’s Expo on March 26th at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. This expo is all about Engaging, Empowering and Educating YOU about the latest information about Parkinson’s Disease. When you leave the expo, we want you to be re-energized to keep fighting the disease. You can attend either virtually from the comfort of your own home, or you can come in person and meet hundreds of people fighting the same battle as you. For more information go to

Also, with Spring comes Parkinson’s Awareness Month in April. We have some exciting plans that month. On top of our regularly scheduled programs in YOUR community, we are going to be Painting the Town Orange. Orange signifies the Neuro Challenge brand. On this day we canvas the community and share information about Parkinson’s Disease to doctor’s offices, home health agencies and long-term care facilities. We believe the more people that know about Parkinson’s Disease the better care you will get.

April also marks the launch of the Neuro Challenge Network, a training and education solution for Parkinson’s Disease. This education solution is aimed at helping physicians, nurses, and home health aides better understand the disease so that they can provide you with optimal care. Again, the goal is about ensuring you receive better care to treat the disease.

And, lastly, in April we are hosting Cause for Hope, our annual gala where we celebrate the strength and tenacity of the Parkinson community. This year’s event is sure to please with our keynote speaker, former Major League Baseball player and Parkinson fighter, Kirk Gibson.

Before I close, I want to share our continued commitment to delivering programs in YOUR community. As we return to in-person programs, we will continue to offer an array of virtual programs that anyone can access from any community. Please continue to use our website as your resource for the program schedule.

Yours in the journey,
Sara Grivetti, PhD, CRC
Chief Executive Officer

She will talk about anticipatory grief and what might be expected later as grieving goes on for both People with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners/loved ones.

March 28th | 1:00pm-2:00pm (ET)

Not mutually exclusive to Parkinson's disease, it is very important for everyone to prepare their documents and legacy. But with PD many times the conversations revolve around the illness, and legal documentations are left at the waist side until pressing need. Legal documentations and preservation of legacy’s in this manner should be taken care of early with the right guidance. join us to discuss what those steps are and documents that are needed.
