IntrepidArts: April in Memphis
Cultural vitamins for your brain and soul
Gore & Gore at Medicine Factory
Painter Kat Gore and her brother Sanford Gore, a photographer, will share the gallery space at The Medicine Factory in a show that runs from Friday, April 9, through Saturday, April 17.  The Friday night opening will be held from 5:30 - 7:30 and the space will also be opening the following morning, April 10, from 10 am - noon. Subsequent viewing appointments are available upon request - just message me to set one up.

Kat's her new body of work is really dynamic and exciting.  Additionally, the pairing of sibling's artworks in this show offers a dimension of depth, illustrating individual talents which are synergistic in the gallery space.
Maritza Davila
Project 2021 Gallery
Have you seen the new (opened in January) gallery space at 55 S. Main? This is a project of the Downtown Memphis Commission to put some empty spaces to better, more aesthetically pleasing use. The space formerly housed the Watoto D'Africa Dance Company youth program and is next door to what was Chef Gary Williams' Deja Vu.

Now that you have your bearings, make a point to go. It is open Tuesday through Saturday and is managed by Nelson Gutierrez. Currently on view is a duo show with works by Maritza Davila and Carl Moore.
