Opera Memphis Comes Back Strong
To be clear, Opera Memphis never left but adapted so well during the plague years that other cities copied such innovation such as mobile performance on a flat bed trailer. Nonetheless it was wonderful to see Pygmalion 2.0 presented onstage at Playhouse on the Square recently. April brings us 30 Days of Opera with performances occurring from South Memphis to Jonesboro, AR to Crosstown to who knows where else (actually there is a list on their web site that tells you when and where). This marks 10 years of 30 Days which also is now emulated by other companies in other cities. Kudos Ned and team!
Curtain call love for Opera Memphis' Pygmalion 2.0
As always I'm sure I forgot something or someone or some event; you might have even sent a reminder which I misplaced. I apologize in advance and will strive to do better in future.
