IntrepidArts: June  in Memphis (and a bit beyond)
Cultural vitamins for your brain and soul
Art from the Beck Estate
The late Jimmy Beck had a keen eye for design and also an impressive art collection. In his will he directed that the collection be sold to benefit four beloved organizations: Church Health , Calvary Episcopal Church, MIFA, and WKNO.  Am exhibition and  auction was scheduled for March 2020 at ANF Architects...but did not take place. Happily we are able to gather once again and the art will go on display at ANF on June 24. There will be a preview from 3-5 pm and an opening reception from 5-7 pm. The silent auction bid sheets will be available at ANF through July 8 at 3 pm. In addition to the Beck art, some pieces have also been donated by Murray Riss and a consignment piece will be available from Provence-base Jill Steenhuis. Here are a few photos.
