- Milltown Library Staff
The Milltown Public Library is looking for an energetic, creative and organized team member who enjoys interacting with people of all ages, particularly children and their caregivers, and is committed to high quality library service.
Hudson resident, Jim Guhl, began writing fiction over ten years ago when he joined the local, Pen and Think Writers Group, and started creating short stories. Jim got a taste of success by entering writing contests and he is a two-time winner of the Wisconsin Writers Association’s Jade Ring Prize for short fiction. In 2015, with his retirement from an engineering career, Jim moved on to the challenge of long fiction. His debut novel, Eleven Miles to Oshkosh, was published by University of Wisconsin Press in the fall of 2018 and received a Midwest Book Award in May 2019. Guhl’s second novel, South of Luck, has just been published by UW Press in September 2021.
