Director Perinatal Services, Central CA., LDRP model and Well Baby Nursery (no NICU), Approximately 50 deliveries per month. 3 LDR beds and 5 perinatal beds. RNs care for both mothers and newborns. 23 Direct reports with 2 shift managers for day shift and night shift. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years managerial experience required. Minimum of 5+ years in Perinatal Services required. L&D and Post-partum experience and certifications required. (In times of high census, will step in to assist staff). Bachelor degree required – Master’s highly preferred, or in progress. Qualities/Skills: Experienced in process change – building processes and competencies. Promotes team building and collaboration. Enjoys mentoring and educating staff. Advocates implementation of evidence based practice and standards of care. Candidates must have a desire for long term permanent employment – this is NOT an interim position. Must have recent stable work history (not multiple interim positions).
