Dimensions of Indigenous: Storytelling is a multi-disciplinary exhibition featuring a variety of indigenous artists from the Americas. See the show at Intermediate Arts from November 19th through January 16th. For more information, visit the exhibit's website on Intermediate Arts.

The St. Paul Civic Symphony is holding two free all-ages concerts this January. The Annual Children's Concert is Sunday, January 17th at 3:00pm at the Mount Zion Temple in St. Paul. They will also put on a performance of "Hot and 'Cool' Classics, II" as part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival at the St. Paul Landmark Center on Sunday, January 31st at 3:00pm. JETAAMN Shinnenkai Dinner and Karaoke

Mark your calendars for the JETAAMN Shinnenkai on Saturday, January 30th. JETAAMN will hold it's annual Shinnenkai (New Year Party) at Hoban Korean Restaurant in Eagan at 5pm followed by karaoke next door. Come for one or both! Go to the JETAAMN Facebook event page for further details and to get in your RSVP.

SPNSCC Presents Tour at MIA

SPNSCC is sponsoring a tour of the Mary Griggs collection at the Minneapolis Institute of Art on Saturday, January 9th. More information to follow. Please watch the SPNSCC website for details.

JASM Shinnenkai 2016

Ring in the new year with JASM on Sunday, January 17th at Hopkins Eisenhower Community Center from 4:00 to 8:00pm. There will be min-workshops, silent auctions, children's activities, and more! More details, including information on activities and ticket prices, is available on the JASM website.

Your Input Needed for Book on JET

JET Almnus, Dr. Emily T. Metzgar, is writing a book on the JET Programme and its influence on Japan-America relations. Read about the project here at The Diplomat and fill out a short survey here about your JET experience to help contribute to the project.

JETAAMN Board Positions Opening

The JET Alumni Association of Minnesota is looking for individuals who want to get involved with the board and help run one of our larger events and a couple of happy hours during the year. Please send an email if you are interested in joining the board of directors.

JETAAMN Membership Database Update

A reminder we are still running the membership drive if you have not filled out the form already. We run this drive every year to prove to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that we are indeed a group of the coolest JET Alums around. We've already given away two Amazon gift cards to members who have filled out the form. There is still one gift card drawing left so be sure to fill out the form for your chance to win!
