Dancers Needed for Japanese Cultural Performance at the Festival of Nations

No prior experience necessary!

The Twin Cities Japan American Citizens League will be participating with a merchandise booth at the Festival of Nations May 5-8, 2016. This is their largest fundraiser and supports many of the programs they run throughout the year.
In order to qualify to participate in the Festival of nations, they are required to have an entry on the World State and every year Linda Hashimoto van Dooigeweert trains and leads a group of dancers in performing Japanese dance. This is a great opportunity to learn Japanese dancing and to participate in a fun cultural event. No prior training is needed. Lessons are free and kimonos are provided if you need one. Regular practices start in January and February, either Saturday or Sunday at 1:00pm in Roseville. Dress rehearsal is March 5th, 2016. Bring a friend! Dancers are needed in all age groups. If you are interested, please contact Linda by email or call 651-503-7995.
